Hong Kong-ing days: Yi Wen Ji

So the other day i went out to eat steam boat with my uncle at a nearby restaurant.

Nice place, crowded though, i guess the most famous dish of this restaurant must be this:

This plate of chicken only cost one dollar Hong Kong ! Which is like 20 cent singapore dollar, holy crap it's like damn cheap, i am surprise that this restaurant haven't file for bankruptcy yet.



But actually a story behind it, quite some years ago, i think ten, Hong Kong was facing recession, so in order to promote business, the manager came up with Yi Wen Ji, translated as one dollar chicken. Whether it was actually to promote sales was hard to be determinded, it could be that the manager was simpily under too great a stress and have lost it.

Then seeing as how i am 18 already my uncle offered my beer to drink,

Tough choice ..hrm..

What do they see in beer anyway, it's so bitter and yucky, but then since we are man, we have to drink it and say it tastes good, just so we appear more man, but the truth is it's bitter !

Ahem, anyway so now i am like staying at my uncle's house as i do everytime i come back. Ahem, anyway

so my uncle has a Shetland Sheepdog at home, a kind of dog made famous by the tv show "Lassie" from way back in the 80's or something.

Very timid in nature, i can simpily scare the dog by barking at it, smaller dogs can scare it too. It's also very hyperactive, reminds me of felicia, except felicia is a cat and my uncle's dog is ... well a dog. The dog's name is bingo by the way. A very smart dog i may add, it knows how to do a lot of trick but only listens to my uncle's command for the most part.

So while i have to sleep on the sofa, the dog can actually slep in his own room ! That is like so omfgwtfbbq !!

How funny, last night i dreamt of my classmate twice, once when i was taking my evening nap and one was when i was sleep. Weird dreams, maybe i been thinking too much recentally.




So now i am conferencing with Fish and Soon Seng, hes finally back from his trip to thailand. Since he was gone, i have been thinking of ....... his underwear, whether or not he got enought to use there or not, and whether he got wash or not.


Now laying on bed listening to Soon Seng talk about his trip, i don't really feel physically tired but my brain feel tired. Then the audition now only downloaded until 77%, Kartina say she want to teach me but she is like teh n00bz0r lor, she teach me i sure get pwned.


Fish say she and felicia wanna go to Hong Kong too when i go, wah i wish they can go too lor, but aiya where they stay and all that. Hong Kong got that disneyland sia, actually i dont really want to go that much la, i just want to camp at my uncle house all day.

I wish there could be something to do, oh my god Fish say before holiday go sentosa, OH MAN can dont go so far or not sia, go somewhere closer la, and i hate water lor, go to sentosa oh my god is like my worse nightmare come true !



Anyway until now i still haven't finish the teacher's day post, but dont worry i'll get around to it eventually la, now so tired and drained. Then fish at there keep taking about herself sia.

Teacher's Day: The Celebration

Hahaha.... okay okay firstly i must confess i didn't see much of the performance. The most important and major reason is because when i met up with kent before going to school he insisted on sitting downstairs at the void deck for a while longer, when we should have just head for the school instead of sitting there for like 30 minutes or so. A less as important reason was because i was too busy looking at girls and laming around.




The only part of the performance that i did see was the part where the teachers was dancing ala saturday night fever.












Actually i didn't really catch much of it but i did managed to capture it using my lousy phone camera

Teacher's Day: The School

So i went back to school today for Teacher's day, the school has a few notable changes since i last saw it.

The biggest change must be the walls of the science labs, they have painted it giving it a more "Knowledge" theme, these include various people that have make their mark in scientific history, thank god they have included the name of those people, or else we wont know what to call them or who they are, not that we will know who they are anyway even if we knew their names, which is why a slide has been placed next to the picture of some of the portraits, not that anyone actually bothers to read them, which is why in the end, no one will still know who they are.

The canteen







Looks like the canteen hasn't change much, they moved the piano from the middle of the canteen to outside near the entrance. Whether the grade of food has improved or became even worse ( if it's possible ) is unknown, because no one dares to try it out.

There is also a couple of new vending macine , yea




The same old spiral staircase is still there, with a new layer of paint i think.
